personal.

With the approach of Autumn, I get all geedy with all the things i love about the fall time in Michigan. Apple orchards, Long night bonfires, open windows, night drives, and last but not least the Renaissance festival… yep i said that.

I have been in the process of making some big changes to lovella, and cant wait to show all of you out there. As some of you know, I’m a formally trained fine artist turned into a portrait photographer. Although I’m embracing the change there is something still missing. In the next few months I will be trying to fill the void with some fashion editorial shoots as well as diving back into the film world which i have left behind. An addition, I will be trying to continue a series I started in my senior year in undergrad but mixing my two passions, watercolor and photography. With all that being said, I’m going to use this blog as a way to communicate as well as posting inspiration. I’m also thinking of doing weekly favorites. Things that I love, and that I feel I should share. Could be a photographer in a different state, a piece of art, or just a necklace. I will be posting sneak peeks still and all things business related so don’t be scared! So here goes nothing..

Right now, I (or we) cant get enough of oceansize. They are from the UK, and make magical tunes that are perfect for editing photos..
The cheetah, is from a wonderful Portland Artist, Berkley Illustration. I could totally see a little boys room themed to these animals.
And finally the hairpiece, I love them. I find myself unhealthy obsessed with hairpieces. However, I never wear them. I think its just that i really enjoy the way they look in photographs. I dunno… this one is from flora bond a Seattle based, vintage fabric and accessories bouquet.

I love Etsy! Thanks for posting the Flora Bond hairpiece. Her necklaces are great too.
